Location
The Strandhotels location at the south cost of Rügen is in the close neighbourhood of the well-known resorts Binz, Sellin, Göhren and Thiessow. The Strandhotel is situated at the Strandstraße in Baabe and the distance between the hotel facilities and the Baltic Sea is about 200 meters. Exactly here in Baabe you can find and enjoy the fine-sandy and most beautiful beach of Germanies biggest island Rügen.
The surroundings
Rügen's nature is manifoldly and unique. Especially the landscape at the south-east of Rügen is very multifarious and for maintaining its beauty and uniqueness this part of the island, the "Mönchgut", is protected by the Southeast-Biosphere Reserve Rügen. Moreover the Strandhotel is surrounded by a wonderful golden beach, untouched woods, blue lakes, wide and green grasslands, historic monuments and much more that is going to make your stay an unforgettable one.
Furthermore, Baabe has a lot of public and private transport possibilities, so that you can also enjoy your holidays without the necessity of an own car. On the Strandstraße, Baabe's main street, a lot of shops offer your utilities for the everyday needs. You can find a wide range of different shops such as a drugstore, a bakery, a post office, boutiques, a hairdresser, beauty farms, grocer's shops and of course a lot of several street cafés and restaurants. Old or young, rain or sun, Rügen has something to offer for everyone.
